How To Be An Ecoist
This activity belongs to collection "Environmental Education" and aims to help children develop ecological awareness and adopt an environmentally friendly lifestyle.
Description
The humanoid robot NAO has been programmed to teach children about ecology through stories and games. The entire educational scenario is divided into three sections:
Recycling – Water – Electricity.
Steps
- The activity begins with NAO standing upright at a distance of 50-80 cm from the child/children. At the start of the program, the NAO robot gives the children the option to choose which section they want to start with and then, if they want to continue playing, which one. This allows participants to engage with any topic they want, as many times as they want. This program is an enjoyable and unique way to teach units from the Environmental Studies curriculum.
